CHICAGO

LOFT DESIGN

The purpose of this project was to do a real-life design meeting with a "customer" and design a Chicago loft by what they requested and showed interest in. This project was the first project we were given where the client was a real person, with real wants.

The client we were assigned to was a gentleman by the name of Cortland. Cortland loved natural colors such as reds, oranges, yellows and all the neutral tones of white and brown. He requested more natural lighting than fluorescent lighting which was achievable through the ceiling to floor windows all on the south wall. Cortland wanted simplistic and practical while natural and inviting.

Here is my take on Cortland's Chicago Loft design.
